For removing fungi and algae from surfaces of materials and construction structures (except for wooden surfaces) and for providing temporal protection for such surfaces against build-up and propagation of microbiological corrosion. Intended for both interior and exterior use.
Package
Single: 5 kg canister / Collective: 450 kg shrink-wrapped pallet
Substrate type
The agent can be applied on virtually all construction substrates, such as concrete, cement plaster, cement-lime plaster, cement screed, grout, concrete roof tiles, bricks, ceramic and clinker roof tiles and coatings, coated metal roof covering sheets, glazed and porcelain stoneware coatings, natural and synthetic stone, thin-layer plaster and paints (mineral, acrylic and silicone), glass, most of plastics, e.g. shower cabins (before applying on surfaces other than mineral, please conduct a test on a small specimen).
Substrate preparation
How the substrate is prepared depends on the type and extent of contamination. For heavy contamination with loosely bound contaminants, e.g. dust, moss, peeling and coming off coats, it is necessary to clean the surface mechanically with a hard brush or by spraying it with clean water.
Instructions for use
Once the cleaned surface has dried, apply the agent generously with a brush, paintbrush, roller or sponge until you moisten the surface completely and leave it for at least 6–12 hours. During windless weather, you can apply the agent with a sprayer (shield the ground around the building so that the disinfectant does not damage the plants). Remove the remains of the neutralized contamination by rinsing the surface with clean water (for larger areas use a pressure washer). If necessary, you can reapply the agent once the surface has dried. The effect of using the agent should be visible after approximately 3 days. Any follow-up works, such as painting and plastering, must not be carried out unless the surface has dried after the latest application of the agent. When using the agent, you do not need to temporarily close down the building or ventilate it during or after decontamination works.
When renovating façades (exterior plasterwork or thermal insulation systems), in order to provide protection for the decontaminated surface, you can use a paint or decorative plaster that is resistant to biological corrosion, e.g. AF 640 acrylic paint, AF 660 silicate paint or AF 680 silicon paint, AT 350-357 acrylic plaster or AT 370-377 silicate-silicone plaster. Decontaminated interior plaster can be coated with interior paint, such as Alpol AF 605 underlay paint, AF 610 acrylic paint or AF 615 latex paint. If there is a serious risk that the biological contamination will return, it is advisable to use paint or plaster that contains additional biocide.
Tools
Paintbrush, paint roller, spraying equipment, sprayer, spraying gun.
Working conditions
Work in ambient temperatures between +5°C and +25°C. The agent must not be mixed with other substances, paints, binders, fillers or dyes. Do not use dirty or rusty tools or containers. Avoid working in intense, direct sunlight, draught and high air humidity. Improper conditions during application and drying of the agent can compromise its performance.
Storage
In original, not damaged, tightly closed containers in temperature between +5°C and +25°C for 12 months from the production date. Protect the product from freezing and overheating.
Notes
The specifications and instructions for use are given for the temperature of (20±2)°C and relative air humidity of (60±5)%. The drying time and effectiveness period may vary in different conditions. Wear safety goggles. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. After contact with skin, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Keep away from children. Do not dispose of into the drains. For detailed information on toxicity and handling of the product and its wastes, please see the Product Safety Data Sheet. No temporary close-down or ventilation is necessary after use. The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for damage caused by unskilful or inappropriate use of the product.
